･Existence of　“qi”

I met a woman who was an acupuncture practitioner in Tokyo the other day.
There are a lot of common features of her and me but after all we both love acupuncture.
The topic which we didn’t know how much we spend on speaking about is acupuncture. Is “get along” this?
I am convinced that “qi” exists though doesn’t see it.
The example, which cat’s hair bristles up when they get angry, might be strange but this is the “qi” rose up by anger.
When my friend was angry, the downy hair of the arm stood. It is said that “Kan-ki” rises in the Oriental medicine.
On the other hand, I have seen the person who was too surprised to stand up. This is “qi” fell down. The temper “Ki” of the modern people who have a lot of tension and anger has been up all the time, and kidney and waist below of the body are weaker. There are in a word a lot of people who are reverse-triangular types. It is an unstable state. It can be said that rotating dizziness, the sudden deafness and the tinnitus of the high pitched sound will happen because of rising up “qi” of the tension and anger.

Though the talk was shifted from the topic, there are many words “qi” attaches are used in a daily life.
For instance, energetic, sick, a motivation, comfortable, feelings, a yell, courageous, patient, innocent, a wild excitement, impatient,　cheerful, gloomily, a nature, worry, stale, intimate, and so on.
The “qi” is the source of the vital activity in the Oriental medicine.
It is said the mainspring of the function activity in the root of the life support of entrails and the organ.

・“Qi” that is anywhere

The “qi” is from the feeling but also from no feeling. Only one pen which is very valued has the warmth that cannot be indescribably.
My acupuncture clinic is the place where the late mother had done for 30 years. The clinic seems to be filled with the feeling that mother thought of the patient and thanks and pleasure that became better than before.
When I worked with mother, I didn’t feel much about “qi”. But I have been feeling mother’s flowing “qi” since I started working here. As if I and mother work together･･･
The patients often say, “I am healed only by coming here, and become comfortable.” I thank to mother who left a wonderful “qi” here.
I am moved by the patient every day now and how much mother loved acupuncture.

･Expert of astonishment

I went to see the clinic which Mr. Renfu Fujimoto, my master, has in Nara the other day.
A patient whose face had got black a little and the swollen stomach came into his clinic.
She was the peritoneum cancer and not to urinate easily because of the swollen stomach by the ascites.
I had a look behind him how he treated her.
There was master who had acupuncture in right hand while checking patient’s pulse by left hand. Whenever master has done the acupuncture, I feel that this is effective in deed. However, acupuncture was not pierced on this patient. He had not better to do acupuncture on her.
The moment he tried to do the acupuncture, he said “Pulse is changed, and the “qi” occasionally moves even if not piercing.” Then treatment was ended. It was only a few seconds.
Acupuncture is really wonderful though it might be unbelievable actually.
The patient went to the bathroom later soon with her happy face.
How light the step was!
I would like to repay the kindness to the master who teaches me how wonderful acupuncture is. The only one thing I can do is that I achieve the word of the master of “Let’s accomplish the impossible for curing the patients”.
